Why Should You Get Fit?



There are many benefits for keeping fit! Mostly other health benefits, but some others too!

- Reduces your risk of cancers such and breast and colon. Some research shows that women who are more fit may have a lower chance of developing breast cancer. Also the risk of getting colon cancer seems to be lower in people who exercise regularly.

- Many studies have shown that people who exercise frequently feel less stress in their lives.

- Sleeping better is common amoung people who are more fit. Both sleeping more soundly and more quickly are possibilities.

- More energy. People who exercise tend to have to more energy than those who don't.

- Studies have shown that people who are fit tend to live longer than those who aren't.

- Blood pressure tends be lower in those who exercise regularly.

- Lower chance of getting diabetes.

- Reduce chances of having a stroke.

- Speeds up your metabolism.

- Cholesterol (LDL) levels sometimes go down for people who participate regularly in cardiovascular exercise.

- Less joint problems.

- Arthritis pain decreases in people who are more active, as does pain from varicose veins.

Decreases chances of needing gallbladder surgery.

The above are just a few of the many reason why it is a good idea to get fit and stay fit. There are many psychological benefits as well. Of course it will very from person to person exactly what and how big those benefits are. But more then likely pretty much anyone would feel and be healthier if they were more active and fit, and well as feel happier and better in other ways too!
